Parish Ministries

No church can function without the support of lay members of the parish who are willing and trained in the numerous roles which contribute to the worship, particularly of Sunday Mass. This section describes these roles, the qualifications or training required where relevant and the way in which the ministries are scheduled.

The churches in the Petersfield Parish schedule some of their Ministries separately. In the case of St Laurence’s, there is an organiser for each of the ministries, whose name and contact details appear on the relevant page; they draw up a rota for their ministry four times a year.
